Festival Highlights
This Annual Festival will be a week long celebration of the Arts and seaside activities that reflect our community interests and way of life.
This Community Event is only made possible with the support of many volunteers who provide free skills, advice and their time; as well as great sponsors who assist with funds, facilities, equipment and great people.
The proceeds from the festival go to identified community needs the 2012 Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival proceeds are going to support the purchase and initial maintenance of a Rhino beach vehicle for Thirroul Surf Lifesaving Club and and another community project not yet nominated.

Friday - The Opening
Art events lead the way with the formal opening of the Art Exhibition in the evening at the Thirroul Community and Library Centre and the opening of Surfing Photography Exhibition and Film Night at the Surf Club Hall. We thank all our emerging and established artists for their participation.
Our exhibitions are open all weekend (gold coin entry fee).
Saturday - Art Alive
The Thirroul town ship comes alive with street entertainment, music, dance, a talent quest, art exhibitions and competitions including a sculpture exhibition at the beach, kid’s activities, a Festival Ball, carnival rides and market stalls. Our local traders provide great food and boutique shopping for all to enjoy. In the evening enjoy The Sculpture on the Beach Exhibition opening as well as music and dance at numerous township venues.
Sunday Funday
In our magnificent seaside park on SUNDAY where there is a full day of entertainment, commencing with the Thirroul Surf Club beachside breakfast, Junior Surf Competition, fishing Challenges, art and sculpture displays, competitions, exhibitions, great food, market stalls, rides, animals, Kids activities, and other displays.
(Remember to check out the Art Exhibition and Art Prize winners at the Thirroul Community Centre and Library, open from 10am, entry is by gold coin donation).
